How to Search for a Title

You can search for any title in our online catalogue, by using either the Search button, search by Subject button or search by Format button.

Search Button

By using the Search button you can enter all or part of the title of the book or service you need, all or part of the author, the product code or the ISBN. You can also search via any combinations of these fields in order to narrow your search down. The Results screen will provide a list of all our titles that match your search criteria. Simply click on the title of your choice to go to its catalogue entry.

A drop down list of subject areas. Simply choose the subject area you want to search on to see a list of all our titles relevant to that area of law or tax. Click on the title of your choice to view the catalogue entry.

Search by Format option enables you to choose the type of product you are searching for. Choose from the drop down list of product types and scroll down the screen to see the list of titles in that category.

How to Order Online

You can order any book, CD, journal or looseleaf service by clicking on the Order icon on the relevant catalogue entry page. This will take you to your shopping basket, showing which products you have reserved. You can change your mind and delete titles from your shopping basket at any time, or change the quantity you require by clicking on the up and down arrows next to the quantity. To check the contents of your shopping basket click on the Basket icon at the top right hand corner of the page, at any time during your visit.

VAT is payable on CDs and online services. Any VAT to be paid will be shown in your shopping basket. If a title includes a book and a CD or online service together at one price then VAT will be charged in part. Click Check Out when you are happy with your order and ready to process it.

Registering

If you are a new web customer you will need to register your delivery details with us. Simply follow the step by step instructions. Fields with an asterisk must be completed. You need only register once, providing you re-visit from the same PC or Mac .

Payment Details

You can pay for your goods using your credit or debit card. Alternatively, If you are a LexisNexis account holder you can choose to be invoiced. You can also apply online to become an account holder if you are not one already. If you know your account number then please enter it when ordering. If you do not have it to hand then do not worry – your order will still be processed.

If you have a VAT registration number then please provide it, as this may affect your liability to pay VAT.

Once you have entered your payment details and submitted your order you will receive an e-mail from us confirming the details of your order

Secure Payment

Security is our primary concern for all on-line customers. Once you decide to 'Check Out' your goods, all transactions are then made secure using a BT TrustWise Secure Site Certificate ensuring complete information security and confidentiality. Multi-User Prices

Our CD-ROM services have multi-user prices. To order a CD-ROM select which user band you require, then click Order. Online Services cannot be ordered from this site. You can order a free trial first - simply click on the Free Trial button.

Ordering titles that are not yet published

You can place an order now for any of our titles that are not yet published and we will not charge you until we send you the book or service. Titles not yet published have either NYP or Approx next to the price shown. Prices with NYP mean that this is a confirmed price. Prices that have approx next to the price means that price on publication of the title may vary from the price shown. When you place an order for not yet published titles, we will contact you to confirm that the title is reserved for you. You will be sent the title when it is published, and invoiced at that time. If you decide you no longer require the title simply return it to us with the invoice and your order will be cancelled.

Online Services

You can take a free trial to any online service using this site. Simply click on the Free Trial icon on the catalogue entry page. Please note, you cannot order an online service using this site. About your subscriptions

When you subscribe to the hardcopy, looseleaf services or reports listed on this website, you will receive updating material from LexisNexis as an essential part of your subscription, until countermanded. Some parts of the subscription services listed on this site are invoiced on an annual basis; other parts are invoiced as each updating issue/volume is published. Please refer to individual catalogue entries to see how the service is invoiced or call us on +44 (0)845 370 1234.

LexisNexis Direct online subscription services are invoiced in advance of your forthcoming 12-month subscription and all updating is included in the subscription price.

Post and Packing Charges

Orders placed through our website are not subject to post and packing charges. Please note this does not apply to renewals. Orders not placed through our website are subject to a p&p charge of £5.45 in the UK and Ireland.
